What products can I develop with GDK?
Six categories: basic skincare, body and hair care, sun care, masks and patches, cleansers, and hand sanitizer (quasi-drug). See all products.
Do you offer both OEM and ODM?
Yes. GDK develops original formulas and packages for your brand (ODM) or manufactures to your specification (OEM). See OEM / ODM services.
Can I receive samples before deciding?
Yes. Development starts with Samples & Market Approaches, the first stage of GDK's value chain, before customised development.
How is confidentiality handled?
An NDA is signed in step 3 of the 10-step process, together with the quality test agreement, before development begins.
When is quality tested?
In step 3 (quality test agreement), step 5 (usability, compatibility, stability and safety assessment) and step 8 (inspection of ingredients and packaging materials).
Can GDK develop the container and packaging too?
Yes. The marketing concept, package and formula are developed together in step 4, and GDK's design team handles turnkey programmes, sourcing, custom design and tooling.
Do you propose eco-friendly packaging?
Yes — for example paper-PE blend tubes, paper refill pouches and a patented biodegradable mask kit. See sustainable packaging.
Is the production process automated?
Yes. GDK's fingerprint-free process automates cutting, folding, insertion, filling, packaging and wrapping.
Is GDK's facility vegan certified?
Yes, the cosmetics production facility holds EVE VEGAN certification (No. VGN032920).
Which quality certifications do you hold?
CGMP (all processes) from Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, ISO 22716, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. See Quality & Certifications.
Do you manufacture quasi-drugs as well as cosmetics?
Yes. GDK is a registered quasi-drug manufacturer and produces hand sanitizer for Korea and for export. See hand sanitizer.
What is your production capacity?
13,000 kg of bulk per day; 55,000 skincare units per day (1.2 million a month); 460,000 mask and patch units per day (10 million a month).
Which ingredients do you propose?
Six traditional Korean ingredients — rice bran, rice lees, mugwort leaf, black soybean, ginseng root and Cheongjindan — each with a formula proposal. See Korean ingredients.
Is there support after the product ships?
Yes. Step 10 is delivery of product and marketing support; the collaboration continues after launch.
